About

The K1 is Booster Robotics' kid-size humanoid, unveiled on 30 October 2025 at the company's ecosystem conference in Beijing as an entry-level development platform. It stands 0.95 m and weighs about 19.5 kg, roughly half the height and two thirds of the weight of the Booster T1. All three editions (Geek, Education and Professional) share the same 22-joint body and differ in onboard computer and battery. Booster markets it for education, research and robot soccer. The maker publishes its robot description files (URDF and XML) under a BSD-3-Clause licence.

In the ring

No fight involving a K1 has been documented yet. REK, the San Francisco robot-combat company, lists a Booster K1 among the robots in its shop, but the listing gives no edition, price or fight record, and REK's published results do not include it. Coverage of Ultimate Fighting Bots in San Francisco shows Booster T1s against Unitree G1s, not K1s. Its known competition record is in football: Génération Robots says a K1 won the KidSize category at RoboCup Soccer 2025. Booster claims it gets up on its own after a fall, recovers its balance when pushed or hit, and passed 30 hours of continuous 500 N impact testing.
