ARC staged a humanoid fight night in Singapore with martial artists piloting G1 and T800 robots

ARC held ARC Night Singapore on 7 October 2026 at *SCAPE. Martial artists in motion-capture suits steered Unitree G1 and EngineAI T800 humanoids in team bouts in front of more than 380 people, according to the organiser.

ARC, a young combat format built around a pilot and a robot avatar acting as a pair, held a fight night in Singapore on 7 October 2026 at *SCAPE. The organiser, founded by Antonio Gai, says more than 380 people attended. Earlier ARC events took place in New York and Chicago with Unitree G1 robots.

The pilots were martial artists from Muay Thai, MMA, boxing and kung fu, wearing full-body motion-capture suits. Their robots copied each movement in real time through a control system supplied by Katena. A split screen showed each pilot next to their robot, and a live display tracked the health points of each machine.

Two teams, Iron Fang and Steel Shadow, each lined up a lightweight Unitree G1 of about 35 kg and a heavyweight EngineAI T800 of 1.73 m and 75 kg, the T800's first appearance in Singapore. Bouts were run in a survival format, with pilots taking turns. In the lightweight fight, MMA fighter Lukas Leasure, steering Iron Fang's G1, put the Steel Shadow robot on the mat. Neither the organiser's release nor Humanoids Daily named an overall winner.

ARC says Singapore is the first of several international showcases planned in the coming months. The event came four days after a separate teleoperated humanoid fight night in Malaysia, at Pavilion Damansara Heights, run by the Shadow Combat League.
