The R1 is Unitree's low-cost small humanoid, unveiled in late July 2025 at a starting price of CNY 39,999. Unitree's spec sheet gives 1.23 m and about 29 kg with the battery, a little shorter and lighter than the G1. It comes in three versions: R1 AIR with 20 joints and no waist or head joints, R1 with 26 joints and a binocular camera, and R1 EDU with 26 to 40 joints and optional dexterous hands.
